About Us

Patient Education Grant Requests

Introduction

The Oncology Affairs & Patient Advocacy department is committed to keeping the needs of patients at the forefront of Novartis Oncology by providing grant funding for activities that advance the objectives of non-profit patient advocacy organizations. Grant requests submitted must provide value to patients and must be consistent with the mission of the Novartis Oncology Business Unit.

All grant request submissions are reviewed initially by Patient Advocacy. Secondly, all grants are reviewed by an independent committee, the Office of Grants and Education (OGE), within Novartis Oncology. No commitment of funds can be made until the grant request is approved by OGE. Approval of similar grant activities in previous years does not guarantee future approval.

To become the world's premier oncology company by consistently discovering, developing, and producing broadly available novel therapies that improve and extend the lives of cancer patients.
